THE FANTASTIC FOUR….

If only i could open up my heart to show you all how much these three mean to me. These three aren’t just my friends, they are my family, and that’s because of how they’ve treated me and the bond we share since the very day we started walking together. I never saw a bond as strong as this coming. I knew i was going to make friends in school, but i never knew the bond would be as strong as this. Honestly, I can’t really recall how it all started, and that’s because we FOUR have made many memories together in the last couple of months. I didn’t find them, they didn’t find me, we found each other and by choice we chose to walk and work together, not as just friends but as something more…

Martins, Faidat and Patrick are the new set of friends added to my click. Honestly, I would have loved to talk about the friends I’ve made right from my time as a high schooler. I mean the friends i made many years ago, that is still on. These friendship has been sailing for years, and it’s still sailing as we speak. Friendship from over a decade, but then i won’t be talking about them because the memories i have with them is uncountable, and i won’t even know where to start from. I will be giving the spotlight to my new set of friends; Martins, Faidat and Patrick, and that’s because the memories we’ve made over these past months are still very much fresh, alive and recent, unlike the ones from years ago…

THE ENCOUNTER WITH MARTINS (OZ)…

Martins; my realest gee, my hommie, one of the best being I’ve met so far in school. The first day I resumed school, Martins was one of the few people i was opportuned to share a group conversation with. It was the first week of resumption, this should be around January 6th, earlier this year...

As we all know, first week of resumption is more of an introduction week, which means no major lectures. On this very day, we all were seated, one thing lead to the other and we started talking to each other, the conversation was about how we all ended up in this school. What made each and every one of us a student of this school, what our first choice of school was, and a bit about our choice of course if it wasn’t our current school. I remember Martins was part of us that day. I remember just him and Keji. We went on and on that day and got to know each other, of all the people i was in conversation with that day, Martins was the only person that stuck for me, and from there we started talking, moved to walking together and before we knew it, we became friends. Martins was the silent one and i on the other hand was the noisy one. We both had different personalities, strengths, but shared similar goals and similar life experiences, which strengthened our bond more. This was the genesis of my friendship with OZ. Now he is more of a brother to me than a friend. Always have been there for me, my goto person, and so far it’s been fun and impactful knowing someone like him and having him as a brother…

THE ENCOUNTER WITH PATRICK…

Patrick; Another realest amongst my click, my hommie, the extremely silent one amongst we four. Honestly, I can’t really say this was how we met. If i’m not mistaken, Patrick started relating with Martins before me. He and Martins are quite similar in terms of silence, so naturally it was easy for them to bond. I was the noisy one to be precise. After he and Martins became friends, and i and Martins became friends, we naturally became three friends, which makes martins the connection between us. As time went by we three became quite close, started talking and walking together, and before we knew it we became brothers. And since then it’s been us against the whole school. He has been a brother to not just me but to Martins also. One of a kind, and mind you, he is a professor, a football guru and anything virtual…

THE ENCOUNTER WITH THE GOAT 😂 (FAIDAT)…

I can tell clearly the emotion that will be on her face right now as she is reading this post, she is literally grinning right now, if not blushing 😂. I am also very sure she has been eager to know what i will write about her. Well, your suspense has come to an end, and here it is…

How Faidat and I started talking remains a mystery till date. She and I can’t even remember or say this was how we became friends. I just woke up one day and just like that, someone i didn’t even know existed in my department in week one became my very close friend, someone we now talk almost everyday if not everyday. The only thing i remember vividly was me giving her a name immediately after we became friends. Asunmo; meaning my gee is a name i gave to her when we were in our early days of friendship. It all started as a joke and before i knew it, the name ASUNMO stuck, and she also started addressing me with that same name I gave it to her…

In terms of craziness, she is top 1, brilliancy, she is a guru, and in terms of care she is the best. She is just too nice for my liking 😂, always at the beck and call of others, ready to help out academically, financially and even emotionally. That’s just how she is. Her personality was what brought her into the click, and guess what ? she is a good cook. Of all of us, i am still the one she is closest to, followed by Martins, then Patrick. We share some similarities, i guess that’s why it was easier for both of us to bond easily. When it comes to arguments and silly fights, the both of us still come first. Martins and Patrick don’t even interfere in our arguments because they know it’s not new 😂, and that we will work things out sooner or later…

I can go on and on about this big head, and still be here till tomorrow. That’s how strong the bond between us is. I don’t joke with her at all. One of the best crazy souls I’ve in this new phase of life. Ode 😂, keep smiling oh…

In summary, these are my people. When you see one of us, you will definitely see the rest of us. I don’t take them for granted. They are my hommies. I am sure the guys are still going to come for me for this epistle of hers, and that’s because i will be sharing this post link to them afterwards, since they are not on hive…

In conclusion, kudos to the fantastic fours, hopefully this bond keep going for a lifetime…
