The Discovery

Day 5/5 of the Plant Stories drawing challenge. The prompt is about the discovery.
Kumieo always kept her arms tucked away, letting everyone believe she was just another odd plant waiting at the bus stop. The leafy arms only showed when she needed them like reaching, holding, small secret gestures she thought no one ever saw.

But today, Rivvi Scarpet saw.
A roach in a bright red cloak,got sharper eyes than most.
Instead of fear, Rivvi just tilted its head and said,
“Leaf-arms, huh? That’s… kinda brilliant. Don’t worry I like secrets. I keep my own.”

For the first time, Kumieo realized her hidden parts didn’t have to mean shame. Someone could see them, and not run. Maybe even stay.

Now it wasn’t just Kumieo and Tovo. The strange little circle had grown.
