Quick Update post about MYRIANODE and Myria's Nodes

Hello out there and welcome back to this quick update about Myria and their progress. Although we had some really good news from Myria recently, vis-a-vis them not being involved in any way or having any funds with FTX, they continue to work hard on various fronts and develop and deliver for their users.

So that was reassuring, but as the days and weeks continued to pass, we were left with the question, what happened to the nodes? So I went into the discord and started asking around, and I did indeed find an answer:

So they are indeed working hard, and they didn't just push it back but gave us two very clear indicators to look out for - TGE (🤷‍♂) and Public Node Sale. So they will be trying to sell a lot more of these nodes before they have any use, we will definitely be watching and keeping our eye on what sort of promised rewards and utility they will be advertising in the Public Sale.

Managing our own Funds

In the mean time we have bought back 1166 MYRIANODE tokens, which will be burned, we are still maintaining the buyback at 0.4 HIVE, we also have 0.36 ETH on hand.

That means there are now ~34007 MYRIANODE outstanding, and with 4 nodes that makes each token roughly equivalent to 1/8500 of a myria node. These numbers should keep getting more favorable as we manage to buy back more and more.

And of course this is all just for fun here at the the MYRIANODE fan club, because responsible financial management is fun!

The HIVE:ETH ratio has moved against HIVE, which means it has moved in favor of this project. Assuming our ETH is still worth at least what we spent or more, it would have a larger value in HIVE terms. This trend may not continue forever, but for now it is in our favor so we can be happy about that observation.

In the meantime?

While that is going on, we are working hard with PsyberX to position the Gold and Silver Passes we already have on Myria as the go-to way to participate in the current pre-alpha testing and the upcoming alpha-multiplayer. Founders are already Playing!

More on this to come in the future, we have an excellent plan to deepen the liquidity on LVL, precisely because we need it to get a lot deeper to be able to let lots of new gamers in.
