Salman Shah did not commit suicide, claims his mother Neela Chowdhury, the most popular actor and film actor in the early 1990's. He again asked for the murder.

Salman Shah died on September 6, 1996, in 'mysterious' way. After that, a dark dark time came down to the world of Bengali film. Due to the absence of prematurely, Dhaka film stars lose a star.
