(ENG/SPA) Review of Politic and Military Strategies in House of The Dragon

Something I love about the series House of The Dragon is that its plot is encapsulated by political and military strategies of the sides that want to establish themselves as a Monarchy, this is something complex to handle in a story and I think it is enjoyable to analyze the various strategies and plot conveniences during the development of the series.

This is a Review with Spoilers up to what was seen in Chapter 3 of Season two of House of The Dragon, having said that let's start.

• The Battle of the Twins:

Almost everyone in the series says it was a bad strategy starting with Otto Hightower and perhaps on the table it is a very complicated maneuver BUT what the series showed that squashes any criticism about this element is that it was just a few steps away from being a complete success and taking Rhaenyra's head off.

I'm not a fan of Ser Criston Cole at all but his idea of taking advantage of Ser Arryk and Ser Erryk's twin factor to sacrifice a pawn in exchange for a Queen I consider it a well-crafted scripting approach.

• Feed the Plebs:

This is a factor that is still developing and of high value because if anything makes the masses revolt it is hunger. King Aegon decides to return their food according to the deal that had been raised but Otto again thinks it is wrong and what I rescue from this is that the boy gives in to what Otto raises, relevant to keep in mind this.

The plebeian factor is used as the script suits him, it is not like in real life because in the story the author if he needs angry plebeians then he places them angry and end, instantly it will be like that BUT I think Aegon finally acts well as King because I see no problem in returning the goats to the people under the siege conditions in which they are, remember one of the strategies by Rhaenyra's side is to close the arrival of supplies to Kings Landing, in conclusion this is still latent.

• Can anyone think of the poor and innocent Rat Hunters:

This is the part of greater argumental convenience that falls in the excessive, if you want the characters to achieve something against all logic and just because, White Worm is the one who guarantees this and you will see her when the series needs to solve almost impossible scenes.

Thanks to her we get to the rat fighter who is involved in the execution of Jaehaerys son of Aegon, Larys manages to get information that it was a rat fighter but it is not known which one of all and Aegon I consider makes a wise decision and kills them all.

The important thing to analyze from the above is that Otto gets excessively angry about this act because it ruins the plan to make Rhaenyra look cruel and I think the character conveniently gets out of himself because he has already shown that he handled a similar and even more complicated situation when Aegon rose to power and massacred many important members of noble families.

Basically Otto becomes like those bosses who see everything their workers do wrong, even when they walk and it is not that they do it wrong, it is that Otto becomes heavy before an act that he could EASILY handle because it is the excessive reaction according to the magnitude of the action he suffered for the murder of his son in the sanctity of his home or perhaps you would not act like that.

Otto, if we look at the character, was not even tickled by this action because he did a worse deed with the nobles, with a more delicate element and he solved it easily. Let me in comments what you think about these elements because the best thing about this type of series is that they put to work the neurons with fictional elements inspired by the cruel realities of the Monarchy.

Algo que encanta de la serie House of The Dragon es que su trama se ve encapsulada por estrategias políticas y militares de los bandos que quieren establecerse como Monarquía, esto es algo complejo de manejar en una historia y considero es disfrutable analizar las variadas estrategias y conveniencias argumentales durante el desarrollo de la serie.

Esto es una Reseña con Spoilers hasta lo visto en el Capitulo 3 de la Temporada dos de House of The Dragon, una vez dicho esto comencemos.

• La Batalla de Los Gemelos:

Casi todos en la serie dicen que fue una mala estrategia empezando por Otto Hightower y quizás sobre la mesa es una muy complicada maniobra PERO lo que mostró la serie que aplasta cualquier critica sobre este elemento es que estuvo a pocos pasos de ser todo un éxito y quitarle la cabeza a Rhaenyra.

No soy para nada fan de Ser Criston Cole pero su idea de aprovechar el factor gemelos de Ser Arryk y Ser Erryk para sacrificar un peón a cambio de una Reina la considero un planteamiento de guion bien elaborado.

• Alimenten a la Plebe:

Este es un factor que aun sigue en desarrollo y de alto valor porque si algo hace que las masas se revelen es el hambre. El Rey Aegon decide devolverles su comida acorde al trato que se había planteado pero Otto nuevamente piensa que esta mal y lo que rescato de esto es que el muchacho cede ante lo que plantea Otto, relevante tener en mente esto.

El factor plebe se usa a como el guion le convenga, no es como en la vida real ya que en la historia el autor si necesita plebe enojada pues la coloca enojada y fin, de manera instantánea será así PERO pienso Aegon al fin actúa bien como Rey porque no veo problema en devolverle las cabritas a la personas bajo las condiciones de asedio en las que están, recordemos una de las estrategias por parte del bando de Rhaenyra es cerrar la llegada de provisiones a Kings Landing, en conclusión esto sigue latente.

• Puede alguien pensar en los pobres e inocentes Caza Ratas:

Esta es la parte de mayor conveniencia argumental que cae en lo excesivo, si quieres que los personajes logren algo en contra de toda lógica y a porque sí, Gusano Blanco es quien garantiza esto y la veras cuando la serie necesite resolver escenas casi imposibles.

Gracias a ella llegamos al caza rata que es participe de la ejecución de Jaehaerys hijo de Aegon, Larys logra obtener información que fue un caza rata pero no se sabe cual de todos y Aegon considero toma una sabia decisión y los mata a todos.

Lo importante a analizar de lo anterior es que Otto se enoja en exceso por este acto porque arruina el plan de hacer ver a Rhaenyra como cruel y pienso que el personaje se sale de si convenientemente porque él ya ha demostrado que manejo una situación similar e inclusive mas complicada cuando Aegon ascendió al poder y masacro muchos integrantes importantes de familias nobles.

Básicamente Otto se vuelve como esos jefes que ven todo lo que hacen sus trabajadores mal, hasta cuando caminan y no es que lo hagan mal, es que Otto se vuelve pesado ante un acto que FÁCILMENTE el podía manejar porque es la reacción excesiva acorde en magnitud a la acción que sufrió por el asesinato de su hijo en la santidad de su hogar o acaso tu no actuarias así.

Otto si vemos bien al personaje ni cosquillas le fuera causado esta acción porque él hizo peor acto con los nobles, con un elemento mas delicado y lo solvento fácilmente. Déjame en comentarios que piensas sobre estos elementos porque lo mejor de este tipo de series es que ponen a trabajar las neuronas con elementos ficticios inspirados en las realidades crueles de las Monarquía.
