VW Madison boat tail roadster
A quick look round a VW Madison boat tail roadster, taking approximately 60 seconds or so.
The car was designed by Neville Trickett and was inspired by the 1930’s Auburn Boat-tail Speedster, and the Packard.
Early cars used the chassis and mechanics from a Volkswagen Beetle, and later a ladder frame chassis was introduced using ford Cortina parts.
The car was made from GRP body panels, and produced from 1978 to 1990.
If you are the owner, or even if you know anything about this car, please feel free to drop a comment and offer up some details. I’d love to know more about it.
