TVR Chimaera
A quick look round a TVR Chimaera, taking approximately 60 seconds or so.
Production ran from 1992 to 2003, and used a rover V8 engine which was either 4.0, 4.3, 4.5 or 5.0 litre.
The 4.0 produced 240bhp, had a top speed of 152mph and a 0-60 time of 5.1, whereas the 5.0 produced 340bhp, had a top speed of 175mph and a 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds.
The name was derived from Chimera, the monstrous creature of Greek mythology, which was made of the parts of multiple animals.
If you are the owner, or even if you know anything about this car, please feel free to drop a comment and offer up some details. I’d love to know more about it.
