Lotus Elan plus 2
A quick look round a Lotus Elan plus 2, taking approximately 60 seconds or so.
The Elan +2 was introduced in 1967 with a longer wheelbase and wider track, and two small rear seats, suitable for children.
The concept of a backbone chassis with a fibreglass body, powered by a Ford UK-derived drive train was maintained from the standard Elan. Approximately 5,200 cars were built.
Power output was 108-126 bhp, with a top speed of 120 mph and a 0-60 time of 7.9 seconds.
