Introducing prisonfreepress!

Hey there dear Steemit community, my name is Tom.
I am located in so-called 'Canada' and very pleased to finally be with you all!

This blog functions as a permanent database or library for documenting injustices within the Canadian prison system.
All posts from public media sources are cited with full credits for: Author, Publication, and Date.
This is not a place for my personal critique or opinion.
It is a place of Historical Record.

On Permanence:
The internet contains, by it's very nature, an ephemeral, temporal record. (imaginary? lol)
As such, it is at great risk of historical information loss and malicious revision.
Linking to an original article source inevitably fails as website architectures are constantly changing.
Death to Dead Links, Long Live Steemit Living Posts!

This is the real beauty Steemit & the blockchain architecture!
(But the negative risk of course, is all the permanent vanity garbage clogging it all up like fatbergs and space junk!)

On Plagiarism:
Fair Dealing & the Canadian Copyright Act
Sections 29, 29.1, 29.2:
"Fair dealing for the purpose of research, private study, education, parody, satire, criticism, review, and news reporting does not infringe copyright."
