Taking a Break from Slushblowing
Sitting on my butt on a stool-sized tree stump in my garage (long story) resting a bit after doing battle with the Minnesota winter. What better time for a shitpost?
It’s been hovering right around freezing all day. Rained for about four hours and then turned to wet snow. The forecast was for 8” of light fluffy snow but now they’re saying 2” of yuck.
Taking it slow because I’m a not-in-great-shape 63 year old man with a history of heart disease on my mom’s side of the family. This is the kind of wet heavy snow that kills stubborn men. So I’m working for 5 minutes and then resting for 10. The sump pump is running continuously; without it the basement would be flooding.
5 on, 10 off, and I’ll live to post another day.
