When you want something very spicy with very few ingredients
Hi dear foodies all around the world π
Food is something that is a necessity for us humans as well as a luxury. Food is something that may make or break our mood. π. Even more interesting fact is that how our taste changes from day to day, from time to time.
So time is here, I am going to share a very spicy dish today. Though most of the dishes that I shared earlier have been deserts this one is going to be extremely spicy.
Ingredients
Green chillies - 10-15 (less pungent) , 5-6 (highly pungent)
Onions medium size - 3-4
Salt according to taste
Dry coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1teaspoon
Oil to fry
Butter - 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Let's start making itπ
Finely chop all the Green chillies and Onions together.
Pour oil in the pan. Let it uttar reach to boiling temperature.Add cumin seeds to the oil and let them crackle.
Add finely chopped Onions and chillies in the pan. Mix them well.
After stir frying for one minute, add salt, coriander powder and Turmeric powder and mix them well.
Keep the flame on medium and let the mixture cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add one teaspoon of butter to the mixture (adding butter will reduce the harmful effects of chillies on your body and it will add to it's taste too.)
Let it cook for 2-3 minutes more. And the dish is ready now.π
Serving suggestions
This is a very spicy dish due to the high quantity of green chillies, so it is consumed as a chutney here. Chutney is anything a side dish to be consumed in less quantity.
I cooked it for my dinner., when tomatoes were not available as I couldn't go to the vegetable shop for some reasons. So I thought of trying this and it came out really tasty.
I made some wheat breads to eat with it.
And here is my simple dinner π
That's it. π
Thank you everyone!!
See you again soon. π
