Vijay & Vikas

Reading is very much liked during the age of adolescent. I was no exception.

It was the summer of 1985 and I had just finished my 10th Standard board exam. What I craved for whole year was to be able to read novels of my favorite writer Ved Prakash Sharma and that too his series featuring two famous secret service agents named Vijay and Vikas.

Both together could finish off any gang of criminals and anywhere in world obviously with the help of some of their friends from secret service as well as from their acquaintances from previous operations e.g. Monto. I read almost every novel that Ved Prakash published since then till I graduated in 1990. It is then I moved on to other kind of readings but I still love my first reading love - the Vijay/Vikash series.
