Ragnarok Logo Contest!

Gaming on blockchain platforms are flourishing these days and one of the gem is Ragnarok! I am happy and excited to participate in the contest.

Since the game theme revolves around a universal conflict and battle of magical realms so I created a logo which describes the theme very conceptually. Here is the logo-

Conceptual background

Why crystals?
Adding crystals was the first and the most initial thought after reading the entire story of the game. Considering a collision in the universe of different realms. I thought about crystals as they are formed due to collision of different natural molecules and the final crystal is obtained in the hard form.

What colour scheme?
Although the universe has been recently proven to be beige in colour but the planets owe different colours and each and every element around universe is comprised of different colours substances.
So, making the crystal multi coloured with a balanced mixture of warm and cool tone colours made more resemblance to the universe. Also the text is turquoise colour to symbolise the historic human belief of universe being turquoise or aquamarine in colour.

What is the construction process?
Since I am an Architect I tried using a 3d software called 3dsmax to create these crystals in some sophisticated manner. Here's how it went like-

This was the final crystal. The next task was to use it with the right kind of typeface to bring in the correct magic.
I started out with different kind of wrap layout but at the end created my own style. with twi different font style and used the turquoise one.

After adding multiple styles to the basic typeface, I reached out to seek help from the basic golden colour but this seemed very common over the metaverse gaming and to match the theme I chose turquoise colour

The turquoise colour added the extra magic and made the logo completed.
