Happier days
I remember going on speed boats and even banana boats when I was younger during the summer holidays. The Banana boat was wicked good, where you would be dragged behind a speed boat on an inflatable banana with handles.
You had to hold on while sitting upright where the driver would speed up and turn corners. Eventually just like a bucking bronco, no matter how hard you dry you will end up being thrown off. The speed boat would come back around and pick you up out of the sea. we had helmets and buoyancy aids on (like life jackets) and we could swim well so it was reasonably safe. This photo of being on a speedboat reminded me of those happy times.
Grateful our parents paid for summer camps that had activities like that. Thanks Mam and Dad!
