Tasting Menu - Snacks

Helle Everyone,

I went to a fancy restaurant last week where there was a special evening with a guest chef. I wanted to share with you the dishes I had as it was on a special tasting menu with wine flight. To begin with I wanted to share the snacks we had.

These little morsels are delicious. I wish I had a description of what they were. From memory the flavours were cheese, mushroom and truffle. My God there was loads of truffle on top as you can see in mu picture. The textures were so delightful and it definitely made me want more.

Here were some tartlets we had too. I can't actually remember what was in these but they were sooo good and the cases were delicate. I think the issue I have is that I ate so many wonderful dishes throughout the menu. It's really hard to remember what each and every one was.

I starved myself before this menu and I'm glad I did. I was so stuffed when I was finished. You had to roll me out the door. I will be posting more of the dishes later on, so do keep an eye out for them.
