Cupra e-Racer
We saw this last year at SEAT driving and future models day at Liverpool Docks.
The Cupra e-Racer was on show as was the SEAT Mii Electric, Cupra Formentor and the El Borne as well as some classics and some current models for driving.
It is a fully electric racing car capable of hitting 62mph in around seconds.
Power is delivered by 4 electric motors which generate upto 680bhp.
It houses 6,072 battery cells and recovers energy from regen braking and deceleration.
A touch screen in the centre allows the driver to monitor and transfer relevant data to the electric system which affects the car’s performance in real time.
