A Beast before THE Beast.
Trapping a massive infected brute at a doorway allowed me to systematically decrease its health down while clearing smaller threats. Utilizing a Molotov and heavy axe strikes secured the kill. Afterward, I cleared out the remaining infected, scavenged nearby supplies, and followed a fresh blood trail through a train container.
I understood my assignment that I had to take down that big infected first before finding the beast in the train tunnel. So I started looking for a way. But right after getting close to him, he attacked me with his massive weapon.
Good thing is, the big one couldn't get to this side, as he was too big for the door. But a smaller one came in that I took down, shattering its skull with some quick melee strikes before it could pin me to the ground.
Then I was checking if there is a way he could get inside suddenly. And when I was sure he can't, I started attacking him and getting back every time when he was about to strike. I was landing quick blows to him before retreating safely behind.
I followed the same strategy for a long time. And at last, I decided to throw some firepower on him. So I used this Molotov to burn the beast, watching the flames erupted across his body and illuminated the entire area.
The firepower did great at damaging it's guard. And then at last, I could take down the beast with a lot more hits with an axe, swinging the heavy blade with full force until the massive creature finally collapsed.
Then came some regular-sized infected who didn't scare me anymore, as I just took care of a big one. I took the rest of them down easily with much confident.
I reached this side that the beast used to move once again, where I found a bag and some supplies. I picked up the valuable supplies and crafting ingredients left behind by past travelers.
Then I started looking around for the beast, and I found the door of a train container was slightly open that I could open up and get inside, squeezing through the narrow gap into the interior.
I used that train compartment to get to another side. And I found footmarks with bloodstains of the beast once again that I had to follow next, without knowing what more was waiting for me ahead.
I'll show what happens next later.
I personally took all the screenshots from my play and I used a logo of the game from online to use in the thumbnail.
