Zcash Unified Addresses Explainer
The unified address combines both T and Z addresses into 1 useable format. This includes access to both sapling and the upcoming orchard z-addresses. This will be functional for all Zcash addresses and easy for exchanges to include in their withdraw functions as ALL Zcash addresses will be compatible with the unified address.
With unified addresses, Zcash gives you both privacy and convenience. This feature creates a single address that is compatible across all Zcash value pools — transparent and shielded.
