Sprint Finish .:. MyHiveGoals 2025

I can't believe that the end of the year is only 50 days away, and it feels like it was last week when I created this year's goals! I remember it like the day when I had a hard time picking the right goals, as I somehow had a feeling that this year would be complicated and that some of the goals would become obsolete...

Additionally, this year I wasn't as consistent with these #MyHiveGoals reports as I was in previous years... Before, I would do them every Sunday, and this year, I would do them almost 1 per month, or even rarely... Tbh, there wasn't too much to share, so I didn't want to clog the blog (that came out nicely 😂)... hehehehehe... I will probably do a maximum of 1 report this year, and the last one, for the closure...

So, let's see how I did... Numbers don't lie...

As usual, the biggest bar on the chart represents the #HivePUD when I powered up another 1K HIVE!

Luckily for me, the APR on curation went up, which helped me a lot with HivePower accumulation... Especially as I was a bit lazy with content creation, my curation rewards were the biggest engine of the growth in the last month or so... If I remember well, my curation rewards were always between 700 and 800 HP per month, while in the recent 30 days, I gained almost 900 HP ONLY from curation! So, having a bigger HivePower balance helps a lot!

In early September, I decided to take some profits from my layer 2 positions... A few SPS tokens, some SWAP.HIVE from liquidity pools, and a bit of LEO tokens were sold and exchanged for HBD! Thanks to that, I reached my HBD goal for this year, which means another row colored in GREEN!!! To be honest, I was hoping to raise this goal at the end of this year as I expected an altcoin bull run, but it didn't happen... yet...

The third goal from this "more serious" part of #MyHiveGoals is still far from being reached... Unfortunately, I missed two meetups/events that I was planning to visit this year, and I'm heavily behind this goal... With the lack of funds (lack of bull run 😃), I was "too short" for financing the HiveFest and the meetup in Aachen, and until this day, I have had only 2 meetups in 2025... One in Austria, and the other one in Serbia...

The good news is that it will not stay on that number! If everything goes well, I will add at least 1 more Hive meetup to this goal... There will be the 2nd edition of the #HiveBeeCon next weekend in Krakow, and hopefully, I will be there... The flight tickets, accommodation, and train tickets are already bought!!! If you are somewhere in Europe, there is still time to come to Poland and join this event!

And, maybe... There is a chance for another smaller meetup in the very near future in another European city, but I don't want to jinx it... 😃

Regarding my "flexible goals", I suppose I will write off my Rising Star goal as it makes no sense anymore... The number of cards isn't anymore a valuable parameter in the game, so I didn't push it at all... At the moment, I'm focusing on lowering the EGO in the game, and investing all my earnings from the game in doing "music lessons"... Maybe I could enter the EGO number as a goal for the next year? Hmmm...

On the other side, the GolemOverlord goal is doing much better than expected... At the end of August, I was ranked 319, and today, I'm at 303rd place in the general ranking! The goal was to climb to the 350th place, so this is an extraordinary result!

All in all, I'm happy with the general progress on #MyHiveGoals, although maybe some of them will not be fulfilled... I will try to do another 1K power-up in December, and with curation rewards, I should reach my HP goal! The rest is still uncertain... 😐
