Are the feelings strictly-depending by external environment ?

A lot of days ago in my house my floor cracked due to expansion of the air. 40 years ago floor structures don't use silicon margin to avoid thermal expansion of materials.
In particular the tiles in figure went up pushed by air under them.

I called my trusted tiler and I had an idea...

Why not use this accidental event to improve aesthetically my living room ?
