MY SAVINGS LET SLIP OFF MY HANDS BECAUSE OF INFLATION.

I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

One of the annoying part about we Nigerians is that we joke a lot sbout everything. Thingd we ought fo be serious about are taking as jokes most times. When the issue of hyperinflation deflected from inflation to hyperinflation in the sense that, things you bought this moment might have inflated by the you want to get in the next minutes. We joked about the scenerio to the extent that comedians were using it to make skit. Something that needed to be acted upon are now being taken as joke.

....the reality began to set in.

After the skits from comedians trended on the go, then reality came visiting. When i was seeing those videos while we were laughing about it the reality began to take the center stage. The crazy scene was, few days ago i was a bit famished so i decided to get two noodles which was widely known to be sold at N200 per one. On getting to the shop, i have already collected the noodles from the seller only for me to pay, the seller who she's a Lady said its now N300 per one. I was like i bought this thing N200 two days ago. Within 24 hours the price of that particular product has inflated. Out of shyness i had to drop it because i couldn't afford it.

As if its going to end there, the second day i decided to go for it since i have no other option. I went to another shop to get the same noodles but guess what, i was told It's now N400 per one. Well, i concluded there's nothing to be surprised about the reality has came visiting but the other side of me was regretting that why didn't i buy it in bulk at the previous prices? It's because noodles has always been my last option it's not what i eat time fo time.

The reality is right on our door steps while the inflation and hyperinflation is taking away money. Salary doesn't increase but the cost of living is inflation and at the same time becoming hyperinflating. All my savings have been taken away by excess increase in price of goods and services.
