Rapunzel's Tower - Feeling Trapped as Inspiration

"Gotta take what you got and make the best of it." ~ I'm sure that this is a famous citation somewhere, just as I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt trapped lately. I guess we all had our taste of Rapunzel's life for a bit...time to let the hair go now 🙃...and might as well get inspired by it.

So I started to draw a tower...I really didn't like the looking start of it, but it turned out ok. I just came back on Hive, did the rise in price had something to do about it? Maybe, but mostly a question of timing as things seems to get back into place for me. Therefore, more free time to draw!

I'm having fun with watercolors in the past last fews days, so here is another one. One of my old buddies suggested me to post to a community, so this is a try. They seem to be many out there, but I figured this one was a good place to start.

I did the basic sketch using a pencil, then I went on with the watercolors filling. FInally, I Sharpied the outlines to finish ir up. I want tk make it darker but I believe I will just end up destroying it. Here are some of the progress pics:
