My Kind Job Will Still Exist
Greetings, beautiful Indiaunited!
I am so glad to be part of this contest in this community to share my thoughts on this topic. It's piqued my interest to share too.
According to the contest question;
Will your Job exist in 10 years?
Yes, depending on the type of job you are engaging in, some will exist 10 years from now, some will go extinct, and some AI, automation, or another better AI will evolve that will last for decades.
Since AI came into existence, it has created new job opportunities for young people to make money, and it has replaced other manual jobs with technology or AI-generated tools for easy work and a better life for people.
One of my jobs that will not go extinct is teaching jobs, there are some parts that AI will not be able to apply to satisfy the students or solve students' problems, which will require humans or teachers' relationship with the students, decision making, and critical thinking to bring solutions to it that AI can't. Students need to be mentored and disciplined. AI can help the teachers prepare lessons and give explanations if possible, but not all aspects.
In this era, innovators are dreaming big and we don't know what will come next, which can either wipe away manual labor completely. So we should venture into a business that AI can't produce or manufacture. A business that can solve the immediate problems of people in society that AI can't solve.
We see today that AI has made it easier for young people to trade in cryptocurrency; if you gain or lose, it's up to you.
Another job, that can't go extinct is in the medical field. I was thinking of medical expertise taken away from the hospital and AI with the patients. 🤣 In mind, how will AI do surgery, how will AI suddenly turn to midwifery, how will AI conduct IVF for women who need children? A solution came that AI can't do this work perfectly. Even with humans' hands on it, lives are taken away, much more so with AI. Patients will die like sand.
Nevertheless, some jobs will last forever, without any replacement by AI. Humans are also intelligent enough to deal with situations and give better solutions to them. Human relationships and solutions to issues are a whole lot, which can't be ignored.
In the next few years, to come. You will have robots cooking for humans. I will cook my delicious food alone and give it to you the way I want. I like cooking, and it will remain forever.
