Peak Open Projects - Update #8

We have released a significant number of updates for Hive Node Beacon. Come check it out below!

We do our best to open the repositories as soon as we consider the code to be stable enough and we have completed our initial brainstorm on the implementation.

Hive Node Beacon

1. Added RC cost tracker

First off, we added a Resource Credits table that tracks the RC cost of various transactions types on Hive. Here, you can easily see the HP and RC needed when doing common transactions such as custom json for 50 characters, casting a 5% vote, transferring HBD without memo, etc. Note that you can also see the trend change over the past 2 hours under the TREND column.

2. Added Hive Engine node tests

Next, we have Hive Engine tests (10 tests) that tracks 11 endpoints. If you click on the Hive Engine tab in Beacon, you will be able to see this new addition as shown on the image below.

3. Added Hive Engine History node tests

We collaborated with Hive account@rishi556 in adding the Hive Engine history node tests in the beacon platform. A new tab called HE History has been added to the beacon platform where you can access the history node tests.

4. Added APIs for HE and HE History Node Tests

Next, we have added the APIs for Hive Engine and Hive Engine History Node Tests. You may access the APIs here: https://beacon.peakd.com/api/

5. Added 2 new API that track RC costs

As shown earlier, 8 brand new APIs were added on the Beacon API website. The last two additions are APIs that track the costs of resource credits.

These were tested with some common broadcasting operations:

• custom_json_50 (broadcast a custom_json of 50 characters long)
• custom_json_200
• custom_json_1000
• custom_json_8000
• comment_50
• vote_5%
• account_witness_vote
• transfer_without_memo
• claim_account
