Scary Lizard

I was walking along a dirt road, and next to it was a little lake or pond. There was some water in an overgrown ditch. Suddenly something rustled in the grass. Was it a snake? Or was it a lizard? Was it a baby alligator after all?

Some kind of reptile was lying in the grass. Thick, scaly skin... could it really be a crocodile?

What if it had bitten me? Could I die because of that bite? Or could I be eaten?

There could be all sorts of unexpected dangers lurking in the grass.

So just snap a quick picture and get out.

Šel jsem po polní cestě, vedle bylo jakési jezírko nebo rybníček. V zarostlém příkopu byla trocha vody. Najednou v trávě něco zašustilo. Byl to had? Nebo to byla ještěrka? Nebylo to nakonec nějaké aligátoří mládě?

Jakýsi plaz ležel v trávě. Hrubá šupinatá kůže... že by to byl skutečně krotodýl?

Co kdyby mě kousnul? Mohl bych kvůli tomu kousnutí umřít? Nebo být sežrán?

V trávě se může skrývat různé nečekané nebezpečí.

Tak jen rychle vyfotit a pryč.
