I just went to the forest again after lunch, and what do I bring you from it? A Martagon Lily.
It's a flower that grows all over Europe, but is not very abundant. It's protected by law in the Czech Republic. Fortunately, I know of places around our town where this lily can be found quite regularly.
In the Middle Ages, the Martagon Lily was considered a medicinal plant. On the other hand, this lily is highly toxic to cats.

Je to kytička, která sice roste po celé Evropě, ale není příliš hojná. V Česku je chráněná zákonem. Naštěstí vím v okolí našeho města o místech, kde se tato lilie dá najít poměrně pravidelně.
Ve středověku byla lilie zlatohlavá považovaná za léčivou rostlinu. Na druhou stranu, tato lilie je vysoce toxická pro kočky. Dokonce prý k závažným problémům stačí, aby se kočka poprášila pylem z lilie a pak ho při čištění srsti olízala.
