[Retrogaming] Story 3: Let the Water Out! | Warioland II (Game Boy Color)
My 3speaking Today
Hey, what's up, players! As always, I’d like to welcome you to my 3speak channel and this post; I hope you’re all doing well. Right now, I’m spending a fair amount of time optimizing certain aspects of how the gameplays are presented on my 3speak channel. For example, today it was the turn of the emulator I usually use to run all Game Boy games. This emulator (mGBA V0.10.5) can run games for the: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance, which is why I recommend it, in addition to its wide range of customization options. Well, I had to spend quite a bit of time figuring out, how should I put it, a video and general interface configuration that would work best for all the games. I also think it was a great use of time, since I learned a lot of technical stuff in the process about emulation and shaders. By the way, I’ve listed the results below in the technical details section.
Today, in this third gameplay session, we completed hte Story 3: Let Water Out! The objective was to drain the water from our beloved Wario’s castle after members of the Black Sugar Gang attacked it. I really enjoyed completing this mission, or Story 3, since some of Wario’s old enemies showed up, like the boomerang throwers. That’s always a plus because, in the Mario universe, even the protagonists’ enemies tend to be memorable : )
Finally, we decided to play the mini-games that Wario usually gets to play at the end of each story. These games typically involve a kinda of number puzzles, and if we solve them correctly, each correct answer gives us a small piece that helps us complete a final painting. As you can see in the video, I didn’t have much luck today, haha! : / Well, that’s all for today. I’ll sign off by wishing you all good luck and hoping to see you in my next gameplay video and post, players.
