Time Off

I've had to take some time off the last few days from steemit to catch up with my personal life. Unfortunately things like shopping, paying bills, & house cleaning don't take care of themselves. Someone asked me how I balanced my personal life with my work on steemit. The short answer is I don't and at some point my personal life snowballs and I have to deal with it.

During my busy day yesterday I failed to notice that my script didn't run correctly. 100% human input error there.

SBD Price & Bias

I'm watching the price of SBD and waiting to see how it plays out. It has only been about 2 1/2 weeks since SBD has been consistently over $1. Starting in April this year it was $1+ for more than 2 months.

SBD was pegged at $1 for stability to make it easier to adopt as a form of payment for financial transactions. At this point it isn't being widely used and the price fluctuation do not currently have a significant impact.

Do not use the convert function to power-up! Not only will you profit from trading on the market, conversion destroys the SBD's in the process decreasing the supply and possibly raising the value due to market scarcity.

Personally I'm selling all my SBD as I get it. I'm also doing this for @spaminator. I will return the original amount of SBD's back to @spaminator when the price returns to normal or the equivalent amount of STEEM sooner.

For transparency I'll tell everyone I'm keeping the difference as a profit for the work I do on steemit.com. This has allowed me to buy computer upgrades, put funds in my emergency savings account and provide compensation so that I can continue working on steemit full time.

I started this account on a whim because I wanted the name for my dog. Yeah.. Silly I know! I started learning a little bit about python and was given access to a voting bot and I had the idea I'd like to use it to uv-pote posts that have been maliciously flagged or up-vote dust accounts posting that I feel deserve some recognition.

A couple of weeks ago I put her on @shadow3scalpel's trail after they had been reported for spam & flagged. This is an opt-in bot for the community of veterans we have from all over the world that have served in the military. It was soon apparent that @zoee VP couldn't keep up with the amount of comments made on posts in this growing community so I leased some SP for it and will continue to do so to help @zoee grow and support the veterans in our community.

@zoee also received a generous delegation from @sircork to help support both!

For those who join and take offense to being asked for content/identity verification they need to realize this is a never ending problem here on steemit. Seems this ball got dropped a month or so ago when I first asked for verification and they didn't respond.
