Threat Level - Yellow

The last attempt sighted by our friend @beerbot was on the 15th. I suggest that the community remain cautious a few more days.

@nnnarvaez and I did a test run for 'Jack' a couple of days ago and received some feedback.

I think the largest problem is the test was done with existing users. No matter what account we use or how we word it they are ingrained to hear "You are using the wrong tag!" when we want to say "Make sure you are using the correct tags."

In a few days I'll pull the list of accounts on Steemit that have posted and add them to the list of accounts not to comment on. @nnnarvaez is also working on nesting the comments for users who use steemit & introduceyourself in the same post. No need to have two comments there.

@spaminator - Comment Spam

With the shutdown of @sadkitten the comment spammers with their bot trails are back. I will be pulling data in the next day and posting it to @spaminator for a Downvote Party. Hopefully I don't find a lot of it. I am working on alternatives to combat this and the post spam.

It seems everyday I talk to someone I find that there are still misconceptions about @steemcleaners.

It's a bot! A bot commented on my post!

We are quite human. Someone did look at your post. We use preformatted comments we can copy/paste and edit. A single member of @steemcleaners can comment on over a 100 posts a day.

Thought police! Leave me alone!

With few exceptions we really don't care what you think or write about. Just as long as you write it yourself and don't use irrelevant tags.

You're picking on me! You didn't flag so and so!

According to SteemSQL there were 15,501 posts in the last 24 hours! There are only three full time @steemcleaners. There is no way we can sift through that many posts in a day. @cheetah commented 453 times yesterday as well.
