Recently @sneak posted another personal flag policy and he doesn't believe in using the slider.

A 100% downvote recently took @xylee a 3 day old account with 2 posts from a 33 reputation to 9 because she incorrectly used the 'steemit' tag. Downvotes have a slider for a reason. While I'd love to be able to flag some 'introduceyourself' spammers to oblivion I believe all users deserve a warning.

I'm working with a friend to develop a bot that will notify every Steemain the first time they use the following tags what their intended use is: Introduceyourself, Introducemyself, Steemit, Steem, Photography, and other special use tags. The bot will only comment once per account.

If you are currently developing a bot to do this let me know. There is no reason to have multiple bots performing the same community service! It becomes spam!

Not Often That I Blow My Stack

It's not unusual for me to receive a few hundred notifications a day. As I recently told a friend - if I'm not receiving reply notifications for @steemcleaners regularly somethings wrong! I expect them and I'm happy to take a minute to reply to those that ask questions, fix their post or tag, or just need some advice.

While writing this post I received a notification that I've been mentioned for the umpteenth time by @markboss in a post. For those of you who have been reporting the account to @steemcleaners I sympathize with you. Unfortunately by my own standards I consider it a 'Community Service' Post. That means it is up to the community to decide whether or not their content has value.

I left the following comment on the post with a downvote:

I'm seriously getting tired of reports from the community that they consider your posts spam. The largest complaints are the frequency and using other Steemians images.

As a member of @steemcleaners I've received flak from members of the community for not commenting and flagging your account as you are providing a service.

After receiving notifications I've been mentioned several times in your posts I have to agree with the frequency of the posts and your use of images.

I also run @spaminator. I suggest you check out our 'Downvote Parties' as I have been requested to review these types of service posts and present my findings to the community for them to discuss and decide whether or not they are spam.

My Advice to the Community: If you don't like it leave a comment, if they don't change or stop flag it! If they flag back contact @patrice or another member of @steemcleaners or @spaminator

Please don't downvote; instead, give us suggestions how we can make this great service even greater.

A quick check shows that your posts have been commented on more than 11 days ago for Photo Plagiarism when another member of the community reported you used their images.

I encourage everyone to leave comments on 'Community Service' posts that they see as spam. I'm not sure if @markboss is doing this manually or running a bot but I have seen other accounts doing the same thing. I don't know that these posts have any actual value.

There are a lot of good curators out there that take the time to write posts that not only spotlight content and authors but they also do it responsibly.

A quick look shows he spent 15.67 hours posting if he posted once every five minutes for the last 24 hours. I have to believe it is a bot.

Community Service Posts

What is a community service post? Well, I consider it anything that may provide value to the community. Much like community service bots like @cheetah, @steemitboard, and others.

As a member of @steemcleaners I really don't want to tell users what they can and can't post outside of a specific abuse scope. I will encourage the community to comment and use their upvotes and downvotes wisely. When these accounts are rewarded more than a few dollars a day they tend to multiply like rabbits.

I'm speechless. I skimmed over a lot of the comments as I was notified via Discord yesterday. I was away from my PC most of the day and have not had time to catch up. I am deeply grateful for the support and encouragment @stellabelle has given me in the recent months. I can honestly say I probably wouldn't be taking this step for sometime without her support.
