Gone With The Wind
The artwork Obtusa by the Venezuelan-American artist Rafael Barrios installed on a major street in Reykjavík was blown away by yesterday’s severe windstorm. The flat-profiled steel sculpture presented an optical illusion as a 3-D object. The work was owned by the founder of WOW Air (also Gone With The Wind).
The City of Reykjavík is expected to restore it after completion of the necessary repairs.
