VIBES - Web3 Music Competition Week #7, Karol G - Contigo

¡Hola, para hoy hice una versión diferente de un tema de Karol G tocando guitarra, batería y bajo!

Karol G vino hace poco a mi país (Venezuela) y me sentí súper inspirada por ella y su banda por el increíble show que hicieron y además me encanta que es una banda de puras mujeres, donde dos de ellas son de mi país. En esta versión quise plasmar un poco de mi identidad musical y mi manera de tocar pero respetando la esencia del tema.

Karol G recently came to my country (Venezuela) and I felt super inspired by her and her band because of the incredible show they did and I also love that it is a band of all women, where two of them are from my country. In this version I wanted to capture a little of my musical identity and my way of playing but respecting the essence of the song.

Mi instrumento principal es la guitarra pero siempre he amado tocar batería y el bajo también me gusta mucho, por eso me atreví a grabar esos instrumentos y me divertí mucho haciéndolo.

My main instrument is the guitar but I have always loved playing drums and I also like bass a lot, that's why I dared to record those instruments and I had a lot of fun doing it

Es una canción que me gusta mucho y tiene una melodía muy pegajosa. En la batería quise hacerle ritmo de rock y disco para que tuviera una base bailable. En el bajo quise darle peso y hacer unos arreglos en ciertos momentos y para las guitarras, grabé una base fuerte y una melodía que le da movimiento al tema.

It's a song that I really like and it has a very catchy melody. On the drums I wanted to make it a rock and disco rhythm so that it would have a danceable base. On the bass I wanted to give it weight and make some arrangements at certain moments and for the guitars, I recorded a strong base and a melody that gives movement to the song
