Un Alien Estilo Minecraft! (🇪🇸 | 🇺🇸)

Greetings lovely people of #HiveDIY. This week I decided to stop being the 💜 Hearts Girl 💜 and become a fan of the Alien franchise. I must confess that I wanted to keep the Minecraft style because I really like it, and this time I'm bringing you my Alien version, since a series about this character that I was really looking forward to was recently released, and so far it looks great. While I wait to see it all to bring you my review, I'm sharing this version of Alien that I found on Pinterest. The image I used as a guide was the following:

This time, I didn't use my grid notebook, but instead used a piece of white cardstock I had lying around, on which I made a few 0.5 cm grids. This is because the drawing I used as inspiration is larger than my grid notebook.

I started by making the frame for the sheet of paper to outline my drawing. The frame is 0.5 cm apart to cover almost the entire piece of cardboard.

Then I marked the measurements of each box along its length and width to make all the relevant lines and finally have my grid card.

With my sheet ready, I just started counting the squares that were painted. The drawing, like my Previous Heart, was done in lines, from bottom to top. Since the process was somewhat long and I managed to capture everything with photos, I'll leave a list of images so you can follow each one step by step.

Yes, in total there were 40 lines that I had to draw, 41 to be more precise, counting the last one that I show below, which only shows the tip of the Alien's tail.

And the point of taking so many photos of the process was to show you this gif made in Google Photos so that it looked great and very summarized:

Finally, what I did was simply add the word Alien, matching two shades of green to act as a play between light and shadow.

And finally, although I really wanted to color the background with a dark shade like gray or brown, I didn't do it due to a lack of markers (most of them are running out 😢). To finish, I decided to highlight the entire drawing, including the letters, with a dark green, so it looks like this:

  Saludos gente linda de #HiveDIY. Para esta semana quise dejar de ser la 💜 Chica de Corazones 💜 para ser la fan de la franquicia Alien. Debo confesar que quise mantener el estilo Minecraft porque me gusta mucho y esta vez les traigo mi versión Alien, ya que hace poco se estrenó una serie que esperaba con muchas ganas de este personaje y hasta el momento pinta muy bien. Mientras espero a verla toda para traerles mi reseña sobre ella, les comparto esta versión de Alien que conseguí en Pinterest. La Imagen que usé de guía fue la siguiente:

  En esta ocasión no usé mi cuaderno cuadriculado sino una cartulina blanca que tenía guardada por allí, a la cual le hice unas cuantas cuadrículas de 0.5 cm cada una. Esto porque el dibujo que tomé de inspiración es más grande que mi cuaderno cuadriculado.

  Empecé haciendo el marco de la hoja para delimitar mi dibujo. La distancia del marco es de 0.5 cm para abarcar casi toda la cartulina.

  Luego marqué las medidas de cada recuadro a lo largo y a lo ancho para hacer todas las líneas pertinentes y tener finalmente mi cartulina cuadriculada.

  Ya con mi hoja lista, sólo me puse a contar los cuadrados que iban pintados. El dibujo, al igual que mi Corazón Anterior, lo hice por líneas, de abajo hacia arriba. Como el proceso fue algo largo y logré capturar todo con fotos, dejaré una lista de imágenes para que se guíen paso a paso con cada una de ellas.

  Si, en total fueron 40 líneas que tuve que dibujar, 41 mejor dicho, contando la última que muestro a continuación, la cual sólo cuenta la punta de la cola del Alien.

  Y la gracia de tomar tantas fotos del proceso era para mostrarles este gif hecho en Google Fotos para que se viera genial y de manera ultra resumida:

  Ya para finalizar lo que hice fue colocarle de manera sencilla la palabra Alien haciendo juego con 2 tonos de verdes para hacer las veces del juego entre luz y sombra.

  Y finalmente, aunque tenía muchas ganas de colorear el fondo con un tono oscuro como un gris o marrón, lo cual no hice por falta de marcadores, (la mayoría se me están gastando 😢). Para terminar me decidí por resaltar todo el dibujo, incluida las letras con un color verde oscuro, quedando de la siguiente manera:
