Maria Montessori

Maria Montessori was born on 31st August,1870.She was born in Italy.She graduated from medical faculty in 1896.Then ,she respresented Italy in London as the first female Italian doctor in 1900.Then,she founded 'caso dei Bambini'and started working in Montessori Method in education in 1907.Also,she travelled and lectured widely in Europe and gave numerous teacher training courses about the Montessori Method from 1915 to 1946.In addition,she opened a Montessori Training Institue in London in 1947.After that she respresented Italy at the UNESCO conferance in Florence in 1950.Finally she died on 6th May,1952.
