Bird's Nest and Eggs

How are you, friends? Best wishes to you all, wherever you are.

A few days ago, I took a walk behind my house. My goal was to clean up the backyard. There are several trees behind the house, one of which is the temurui tree, as we Acehnese call it. This tree is also known as the Koja bay tree. This tree grew alone, and I deliberately avoided cutting it down because its leaves are useful in curry dishes.

This tree hasn't grown very tall, but interestingly, I was surprised when I passed it. A bird flew in front of me right from the tree. Suspicious, I approached the tree. My suspicions were right; there must be something hidden there. A bird's nest made of dry grass, meticulously built by its mother. What was even more interesting was that there were two eggs inside the nest.

I carefully took a closer look. I didn't need to climb the tree because it wasn't tall. I didn't want to disturb the bird's nest. I carefully photographed it, avoiding touching the eggs. If you don't touch them, the mother will abandon them, which is exactly what happened to me.

After taking a few photos, I left the nest with the eggs. I hoped the two eggs would hatch and the chicks would grow up healthy and big.

Note: I am writing in Indonesian and using the help of Google translate to translate into English.
