The halftime musical show was the first in NFL history in which hiphop, a musical genre that has dominated pop music in the US for more than 30 years, was the protagonist. Also present were Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem, the biggest representative names in American hiphop in recent years.
