Beautiful View at William Toren Lighthouse
Hi fellow Hivers.. I hope you are healthy Sentosa. This time I share photos of my trip to Pulo Aceh, it is located at the tip of the island of Sumatra. There I visited a building that was built by Dutch soldiers when Indonesia was not yet independent, aka Indonesia was colonized by the Dutch colonials.
The historic building is the Wiliem's Toren III Lighthouse, located in Meulingge village, Aceh Besar district. This lighthouse was built in 1875, it is about 1 century old. The architectural style is very thick with Dutch nuances, having a height of 85 meters and a building thickness of 1 meter.
I also don't know much about the history of this building when it was first built, but I suggest if you want to know please search for articles on google. Hehe
The following are photos I took during my trip to Williem's Torent Lighthouse. Hope you are interested..
