I want to spin it
But I can’t
I want to sugarcoat it
But my hands taste sour
I looked for proof
Of mercy
A deus ex machia
Instead
I found
Soulessness
There was no one
To answer
The call I could not make
Tomorrow
I will bury my sorrow
Touch the dirt
Cleanse my fingers
And get lost in the grid once again
