Topic: Why We Should Value Expertise, but Fear Expert Power
Question: Climate science is a field whose funding and interest is dependent on the possibility of imminent catastrophe. Without the concerns of climate change, there would be little to no interest or need to study the climate. Given the concerns around the validity of Climate Models ( https://www.hoover.org/research/flawed-climate-models (Links to an external site.)), should the authority and self-interest of climate scientists be concerning?
