I'm making changes for my networks on the internet, I was already bored with the photo and cover I had, so here comes the change.

Les comparto esta nueva ilustración que hice para usarla como mi nueva foto de perfil en las distintas plataformas que uso. Ando haciendo cambios para mis redes en el internet, ya me había aburrido la foto y portada que tenia, así que llego el cambio.

I started doing the sketch in traditional, since it is more comfortable to structure the whole drawing from the beginning that way. I was inspired by several pictures I saw on Pinterest, until I got this strange but beautiful creature. After I have the sketch done, what I do is to go to Clip Studio Paint to convert the sketch from traditional to digital. In this step I change certain things and improve something that I didn't like so much.

Comencé haciendo el boceto en tradicional, ya que para es mas cómodo estructurar todo el dibujo de principio de esa manera. Me inspire en varias fotos que vi por Pinterest, hasta llegar a obtener esta criatura extraña, pero hermosa. Luego que tengo el boceto hecho, lo que hago es irme al Clip Studio Paint para pasar el boceto de tradicional a digital. En este paso lo hago es cambiar ciertas cosas y mejorar algo que no me haya gustado tanto.

When I have the digital sketch ready, what I proceed to do is to start adding all the color. For this drawing, I searched on Pinterest for a color palette that I liked and found this one, which tends to go for pastel colors, very light in terms of saturation.

Cuando tengo listo el boceto en digital, lo que prosigo a hacer es comenzar a agregar todo el color. Para este dibujo, busque en Pinterest una paleta de color que me gustara y encontré esta, que tiende a ir por colores pastel, muy claros en cuando a saturación.

I only use three main colors, one for the base color, one for the redness and the last one for the shadows. When I have the colors added, what I do is to start detailing the whole illustration. I always start detailing the face and then move on to the other areas in the drawing.

Solamente use tres colores principales, uno para el color base, otro para las rojeces y el ultimo para las sombras. Cuando tengo los colores agregados, lo que hago es comenzar a detallar toda la ilustración. Siempre comienzo detallando el rostro, para luego irme a las demás zonas en el dibujo.

Little by little I build up the whole drawing itself, adding more color and shadows, leaving the sketch aside, since for this illustration, I didn't want it to have line art. I finish the drawing by adding some glitter and that's it folks, that would be all!

Poco a poco voy construyendo todo el dibujo en sí, agregando mas color y sombras. El boceto lo voy dejando a un lado, ya que para esta ilustración, no quise que tuviese line art. Agrego pecas, textura a la piel, tanto del personaje principal, como también a la serpiente. Termino el dibujo agregando unos brillos y listo amigos, eso seria todo!
