Learn Through Play: Children's Teepee

Like me, many parents have made the decision to move abroad for better opportunities, especially for our children. However, the early days usually require us to live according to a strict budget, and large properties with enough rooms for everyone are often luxuries that most new arrivals upon shores a new can not yet afford. As such, our children sometimes find themselves without a room to call their own. In our case, we find ourselves in a fortunate position in which our little girl has not yet started to request a space that can act as a physical augmentation of her personality, but there are cheaper ways to provide them with a little space they can retreat to.
While good ol' fashioned sheets propped up by a broom may do the job for a while, dismantling is inevitable when we consider that said broom is needed for sweeping the living space, and said blanket is required for sleeping under. Thus, a child teepeee is the perfect gift to purchase for your kid/s. Not only does it act as a wonderful toy and reading den, but it also provides wonderful opportunities for role-play. Children can develop critical thinking skills through the conceptual design of scenarios to play out, and can also enhance their communicative competencies by assuming different roles and enacting various scripts.
I've found the child teepee to be a great addition to my daughter's toy collection. It can be easily assembled and taken apart, easily folded when cleaning needs to be done, and its box makes for easy transport to other places when traveling becomes necessary. If all else fails, throw a few sparkly lights on it and use it as a makeshift Christmas tree to house the presents in :). Here's wishing all you parents many hours of fun with your children.
