¡Fuimos a la pesca de pejerrey de este 2024!
Primero, fui a Flores, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, para encontrarme con Héctor. Desde allí, nos dirigimos a San Fernando, cerca de Tigre, donde está la lancha y el guía que nos llevó por el Río de la Plata.

En la guardería, les mostré un poco cómo es el lugar y la cantidad de embarcaciones que tienen guardadas. También capturamos el hermoso amanecer y algunas cosas interesantes sobre la reciente ola de frío en Buenos Aires y su efecto en el río.
Luego, salimos rumbo al punto de pesca, con el nivel de agua en el río algo bajo. ¡La paz que se siente al estar pescando en medio del río es indescriptible!
Utilizamos carnada viva, mojarras, y logramos sacar una buena cantidad de peces. Estuvimos pescando desde las 8 am aproximadamente hasta las 4 pm, cuando regresamos. El viaje de ida al punto de pesca fue de unos 30 o 40 minutos, pero la vuelta fue más larga debido a algunos inconvenientes con la baja del nivel del agua. Tuvimos que superar ciertos desafíos para no quedarnos encallados en medio del río. Además, tuve algunos problemas con la cámara debido al intenso frío; cuando la temperatura baja mucho, la batería se descarga rápidamente, un error bastante común en las GoPro.
¡Fue una bonita aventura y la pesca fue abundante! Aquí les dejo la publicación de mi madre, que hizo una comida espectacular con los pejerreyes que le llevé.

We went fishing for pejerrey in 2024!
First, I went to Flores in Buenos Aires City to meet up with Héctor. From there, we headed to San Fernando, near Tigre, where the boat and the guide who took us through the Río de la Plata were located.
Here’s the video from our 2023 fishing trip.
At the boathouse, I showed you a bit of what the place looks like and the number of boats stored there. We also captured the beautiful sunrise and shared some interesting details about the recent cold wave in Buenos Aires and its effect on the river.
Then we set off to the fishing spot, with the water level in the river being a bit low. The peace you feel while fishing in the middle of the river is indescribable!
We used live bait, mojarras, and managed to catch a good amount of fish. We fished from around 8 am until 4 pm, when we headed back. The trip to the fishing spot took about 30 or 40 minutes, but the return was longer due to some issues with the low water level. We had to overcome some challenges to avoid getting stuck in the middle of the river. I also had some problems with the camera because of the intense cold; when the temperature drops too much, the battery drains quickly, which is a common issue with GoPros.
It was a beautiful adventure, and the fishing was abundant! Here’s the post from my mom, who made a spectacular meal with the pejerrey I brought her.
