El mágico mundo de fantasía, ingenio y físicas disparatadas de Trine está de regreso. Frozenbyte y el editor Cooldown Games han anunciado oficialmente el lanzamiento de Trine 6: Together in Time, la esperada sexta entrega de una de las sagas de plataformas y puzles más queridas por la comunidad gamer.

Prepara tu calendario (y a tus amigos), porque la fecha elegida es el próximo 17 de septiembre de 2026.

Lo mejor de todo es que nadie se quedará fuera de esta aventura medieval. El juego estará disponible de forma masiva en prácticamente todas las plataformas actuales: PC (Steam y Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch y Nintendo Switch 2.

Una alianza inesperada: 5 héroes jugables

Esta vez no estaremos limitados al clásico trío. Aunque los icónicos Amadeus el Mago, Zoya la Ladrona y Pontius el Caballero están de vuelta, la historia arranca con un robo que sale terriblemente mal en un rincón lejano del reino.

Esto unirá el destino de nuestros héroes tradicionales con dos nuevos personajes jugables:

• Moira la Acróbata: Capaz de encadenar fluidos combos de patadas y balancearse por los escenarios usando su cinta.
• Adrius el Escudero: Un joven intrépido listo para demostrar su valía en el campo de batalla.

Juntos, este grupo de cinco héroes tendrá que recorrer paisajes hechos a mano y derrotar a un peligroso brujo antes de que reclame un poder mágico que ha salido mal.

Rompecabezas cooperativos y la nueva mecánica del tiempo

Trine 6: Together in Time dobla la apuesta por el juego cooperativo, permitiendo partidas de 1 a 4 jugadores tanto en modo local (¡vuelve el juego de sofá!) como online con soporte completo para crossplay.

Los desarrolladores han rediseñado los puzles con un enfoque cooperativo flexible: aunque están pensados para resolverse coordinando habilidades en equipo, el diseño inteligente del juego permite que cualquier personaje pueda resolver cualquier acertijo, lo que da total libertad de juego. Y si prefieres jugar en solitario, los retos se adaptarán dinámicamente para que no te quedes atascado.

¿La mayor novedad en la jugabilidad? La habilidad Time-Slow (Ralentización del Tiempo). Ahora todos los héroes podrán ralentizar el entorno para calcular saltos milimétricos, esquivar ataques enemigos en momentos caóticos o coordinar puzles de sincronización extrema con tus amigos.

El juego promete combates dinámicos contra jefes que mezclan plataformas y estrategia ambiental, además de un árbol de habilidades desbloqueables para potenciar el estilo de cada héroe mientras exploras niveles repletos de secretos.

Si juegas en PC, te alegrará saber que los requisitos son bastante amables: solo necesitarás una tarjeta gráfica GTX 1050 Ti (o equivalente) como mínimo, y 10 GB de espacio libre en tu disco.

It's official! Trine 6: Together in Time will arrive this September 17th with cooperative gameplay and new heroes.

The magical world of fantasy, ingenuity, and wacky physics of Trine is back. Frozenbyte and publisher Cooldown Games have officially announced the release of Trine 6: Together in Time, the highly anticipated sixth installment in one of the most beloved platforming and puzzle series in the gaming community.

Get your calendars (and your friends) ready, because the release date is September 17, 2026.

Best of all, no one will be left out of this medieval adventure. The game will be available on virtually all current platforms: PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

An unexpected alliance: 5 playable heroes

This time, we won't be limited to the classic trio. Although the iconic Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief, and Pontius the Knight are back, the story begins with a robbery gone horribly wrong in a far corner of the kingdom.

This will unite the destinies of our traditional heroes with two new playable characters:

• Moira the Acrobat: Capable of chaining fluid kick combos and swinging through the environments using her ribbon.

• Adrius the Squire: A fearless young man ready to prove his worth on the battlefield.

Together, this group of five heroes will have to traverse handcrafted landscapes and defeat a dangerous sorcerer before he can claim a magical power gone awry.

Cooperative Puzzles and the New Time Mechanics

Trine 6: Together in Time doubles down on cooperative gameplay, allowing 1-4 player games both locally (couch play is back!) and online with full crossplay support.

The developers have redesigned the puzzles with a flexible cooperative approach: while designed to be solved by coordinating teamwork skills, the game's clever design allows any character to solve any puzzle, providing complete freedom of play. And if you prefer to play solo, the challenges will dynamically adapt so you won't get stuck.

The biggest gameplay innovation? The Time-Slow ability. Now all heroes can slow down the environment to calculate pinpoint jumps, dodge enemy attacks in chaotic moments, or coordinate extremely precise puzzles with your friends.

Are you ready for the journey?

The game promises dynamic boss battles that blend platforming and environmental strategy, along with an unlockable skill tree to enhance each hero's style as you explore levels brimming with secrets.

If you're playing on PC, you'll be happy to know the requirements are quite modest: you'll only need a GTX 1050 Ti graphics card (or equivalent) at a minimum, and 10 GB of free disk space.
