LEARN THE BASIC OF BAKING

Hello hive, good afternoon everyone.

Truthfully,I just started doing the real baking but prior to that,the most I was baking was coconut pie,it was not until recently I started baking chocolate chip,cookies, and chocolate cake. I started doing it for one reason. One I'm allergic to a lot of preservatives in store brand cakes like milk and other long list of things in it.

I started with zero knowledge with basic of baking. The initial 15 months were a game charger in my life. The journey started with learning the basic in baking,I consumed information from the internet and started learning how to bake from scratch.

I started with recipes for beginners and basics of baking a cake and then slowly headed towards the advanced levels. It always helps to know the basics,the chances of going wrong reduces.

The year 2022 was cyclonic for me. My big sister failed in her startup.she took up a project in Abia state and we all moved to this new state leaving my job behind. A new state and a lot of new things to learn.

In any new place when you try to settle down, the first few months are to adopt yourself to the new environment whatever happens happens for the good. It was only after moving to Abia state, I started to realize my passion for baking. And somewhere in August 2023, I decided to transform my passion into my profession.

I could have made enough money for myself by picking a job. However, working 9-5 did not interest me any longer. This time I wanted to work for myself and not for others. I wanted to bake.

Unfortunately, I did not have a mentor with me and when I look back at my journey,I realize how much of the hard work it has been for me.

My sincere thanks to everyone who have helped me learn to bake and now it's my turn. In my opinion,the best you can give to your society. Is knowledge and creating possibilities,with this hope, I am writing a series of articles on the basic of baking and beyond that's all for now, cheers and happy baking.
