Hello dear community, it is a pleasure for me to write to you and tell you a little about the work done by the Exploradores del Rey Youth Brigade from my beautiful country Venezuela whose mission and vision is to teach children and young people about the love of God in contact with nature and outdoor experiences.

In this century where everything is driven by technology it is a bit difficult for our kids to enjoy the natural beauty without being glued to mobile devices. We have found a way for them to understand that there are other ways to have healthy fun and one of them are those outdoor adventures.

As always the ingenuity of the Venezuelan guys...a fan inside the tent haha.

For some it was a new experience, others had already lived it and for some the simple fact that there was no signal in the place where we were was catastrophic haha, but we found a way to make them not feel it so much. The outdoor activities are many and this only made them go to bed tired haha.

Píritu State Portuguesa Venezuela is our meeting place every year. It is a very large piece of land, at a distance you have the Píritu river and that is where they bathe, there are no public bathrooms. When they arrive they have to place their tents, set up an outdoor kitchen and a bathroom that they have to make.

Our boys and girls

It is quite hot, but it is quite an adventure. At first they don't like it but then they end up adapting since they will be there for 4 days sharing the word of God with their companions. The nights are spectacular and we all stick together. We teach them to love God above all else and to help others.

But above all, we teach them to enjoy and live nature, to breathe fresh air and fellowship as a central base. An incomparable adventure. This is our nature.
