North Shore Road Neveda
These are from a trip we took to Las Vegas a couple years ago. The plan was to do Vegas a little different. We stayed at the Red Rock Casino on the far west side of town miles from the strip. We had mapped out some hikes and drives to busy our days and pretty much avoided downtown altogether.
The following shots were taken on the North Shore Road out of Henderson. We were on our way to the Valley of Fire but I had no idea the type of scenery we would see just getting there. I made a lot of panoramas just trying to fit all the scenery. :)
I really liked all the different colored rocks in one field of view.
It was a great road with lots of turn outs and very little traffic.
It was the long way to Valley of Fire but well worth the trip. Besides I'm always the road less traveled type of guy. :)
