McMenamins Edgefield Lodge
These are from my recent visit to the Portland OR. area. I stayed at the McMenamins Edgefield Lodge in Troutdale OR. Here is a shot of the main entrance. This is the old Multnomah County poor farm built in 1911. It is not really 5* lodging. Not every room comes with a private bath, no air conditioning and not a lot of things have been updated since it was originally built. In some parts of the lodge you do get an institutional feel. Probably perfect for me. :)
Here are few additional shots of the architecture around the entrance.

While it is an old building there is some beautiful wood work, and eclectic artwork inside. There is also 75 acres of grounds that contains numerous little drinking establishments, some incredible gardens, and a small golf course. I will show more of these features in subsequent posts. :)
Photos taken by me with a Nikon D3300 and CPL filter with some Lightroom post processing.
Thanks for looking and enjoy your day!
