How I Overcame Fear through art
Hello, Hivers!
It was a wonderful day, but as I walked to my morning lecture, my mind was consumed with a single thought: the theme for today's painting. I felt a mix of anticipation and dread, and I couldn't shake the worry of facing a blank canvas. I knew I couldn't wait to hold the brushes, but at the same time, I felt withdrawn, almost frozen. I took a moment to brainstorm, a silent battle taking place in my mind.
During this moment, I was a whirlwind of mixed feelings—tensed and agitated. I finally picked up my pencil to plan out what I would represent on the canvas, waiting in anticipation for the creative spark to hit.
At last, I figured something out. I wasn't even sure if it was what I truly wanted to paint, but it gave me a sense of direction, and the more I pondered it, the clearer it became.
After taking a moment to flex my muscles, I began a journey with an uncertain outcome. The second I picked up my brushes, I was overwhelmed. The tension got so strong, but I began to sketch, blocking in colors and giving life to the subject on the canvas.
As the process continued, I could start to see what the final piece would look like, and it was beautiful. My fears were gone, and the tension subsided. Not long after, my lecturer came by to check on my work and was delighted by what he saw.
The brushes were amazed at what their creator did with his magical hands. Everyone was in awe of the end result. I want you to witness what it turned out to be.
