Status update! Recovering!

I'm finally doing well enough on a pain management front that I figured I'd make a quick post to update everyone.

My operation was thankfully a fairly quick day surgery, so I didn't have to spend overly long in the hospital. While I'm in a decent amount of pain and my movement is pretty limited, it's nice being home.

The first day was pretty awful, and I mostly slept and took painkillers as frequently as I could. On the second day I was able to move about a bit and watch some Netflix and play some Marvel Snap, but it was another day of a lot of sleep and a lot of painkillers.

Today so far things are a little better, I'm not in as much constant pain - with Tylenol and ibuprofen there have been a few times this morning where I haven't had much for any pain. I still can't really sit at all and won't be able to for a while yet, but I can walk around a bit... Even if it resembles an Ozzy Osbourne impression.

I've been told it could be a week or two before I can resume working but I'm hoping that it's more like one or two more days because I'm going to go crazy not doing anything if I can't find some way to be a little more productive. 😂

We will see how things go today and tomorrow, and hopefully I'll be able to get back to work and blogging and gaming soon, even if I have to do some of it laying down. Three days, as it turns out, is about my maximum amount of time I can lay around and do nothing without getting a little stir crazy. 🤣
