Iron Wings

Legendary; Requires attunement
Several flat iron bars (about 6cm wide) are connected end-to-end with rotating rivets to form an articulated length of metal, slightly more than 2 meters long. Hanging from these bars are a multitude of chains of various lengths (22 or more on each wing), each tipped with a savagely barbed arrowhead. Each wing is affixed to a harness section made of similar metal bars and chains. The entire item is heavily rusted, but highly durable.

Properties

  • Requires Attunement
  • Extremely heavy; half movement speed if the wearer has STR less than 18.
  • Semi-sentient item; can move autonomously to aid its host. +1 to passive perception.
  • Cursed; Once worn and attuned, the item cannot be removed except by an Aarakocra Spirit-Keeper via a special ritual (or by dying)

Abilities

Using a reaction, you may anchor yourself in place and gain a +3 to any STR saving throws that would push or pull your character.

As an Action, you may use Spider Climb for 1 hour, after which you must roll a DC 10 CON saving throw, or suffer 1 point of exhaustion.

Notes: I created these after being inspired by SCP-070, and this is unlikely to be the final form these take. I haven't yet used them even in a solo scenario, so I may tinker with them a bit yet and expand or change abilities/properties as needed.
